English
Mirror Atelier is a calm mosaic puzzle made by Devello ("we"): you place pieces on the left half of a picture and a mirror completes the right. You can play without an account, and we never ask for your name, email address, phone number, photos, contacts or location. This policy explains what information the game uses, why, who receives it and the choices you have. By using Mirror Atelier, you agree to this Privacy Policy.
1Information Stored on Your Device
Mirror Atelier keeps what it needs to play on your device:
- Your progress: restored pictures, best moves and times, stars, skipped levels and the workshop items you own.
- Your settings: sound, music, vibration, Reduce Motion, Differentiate Without Color, ambience, memory mode and layout.
- Your privacy choices, a record of what you have bought (for example "Remove ads"), and counters that space out ads.
This information is removed when you use Settings > Delete my data or uninstall the game.
2Cloud Save and App Configuration (Google Firebase)
Your progress and settings are also stored with Google Firebase under a random, anonymous identifier, so they survive reinstalling the game. This identifier is not linked to your name or contact details.
To run, the game fetches settings such as how often ads may appear from Firebase Remote Config. The request carries a random identifier for this installation of the game, the app version, and your device's operating system, language and country.
3Advertising
The free game shows an ad between levels now and then (never during a level, and none in your first ten levels) and offers optional videos for hints and skips. Our ad mediation software, Unity LevelPlay (Unity Technologies), and the ad networks it works with, among them Unity Ads, ironSource Ads and Google AdMob, process technical information to deliver an ad, limit how often it is shown, measure it and prevent fraud:
- Your IP address and the approximate location that can be derived from it.
- Device and app information, such as model, operating system, language and app version.
- Device identifiers, such as your device's advertising identifier (on iOS, the IDFA only if you allow tracking).
- Ad interactions, such as ads shown and tapped, and diagnostic information about ad delivery.
Without your consent, these ads are not personalized. "Remove ads" removes every ad, and the weekly challenge never shows ads.
Learn how Google uses this information in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
4Information Used Only With Your Consent
When you first open the game, a privacy screen asks about two choices. Both are off unless you turn them on, and you can change them at any time in Settings > Privacy choices.
- Gameplay statistics: anonymous events about how levels are played (for example, which level was started or completed, how long it took, how many moves, hints or undos were used) are sent to Google Firebase Analytics, and crash reports to Firebase Crashlytics. We use them to make the puzzles better and to fix problems. They contain no name, email or free text. Firebase Analytics also records sessions and basic device information; it never collects your device's advertising identifier and is not used for ads.
- Personalized ads: your device's advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, the Google Advertising ID on Android) and your interactions with ads are used by Unity LevelPlay and its ad partners to choose ads that may interest you. On iPhone and iPad this also needs your permission in Apple's tracking prompt, which you can change in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
On Android you can also reset or delete your advertising ID in your device's settings.
5Purchases
Payments are handled by Apple or Google under their own terms, and we never receive your payment card details. The game only keeps a record of what you own. Our purchasing software, Unity In-App Purchasing (Unity Technologies), sends Unity a record of each purchase step (the product, its price and currency, the transaction identifier, the store, the app version, your device model and operating system and, on iOS, an identifier for this app on your device) so purchases can be reported to us. If you allowed personalized ads, the record may also carry your advertising identifier.
6Sharing a Picture
When you share a finished artwork, the game gives the picture you chose to your device's share menu. On Android 10 and later the picture is also saved to your Pictures/Mirror Atelier album; on iPhone and iPad it is added to Photos only if you choose "Save Image". The game never reads your photos.
7Third-Party Services
Mirror Atelier relies on these providers, each under its own privacy terms:
- Google: Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Remote Config, Analytics, Crashlytics), Google Play and Google AdMob.
- Apple: the App Store.
- Unity Technologies: Unity In-App Purchasing, Unity LevelPlay, Unity Ads and ironSource Ads.
- The other ad networks Unity LevelPlay works with.
They may process information in countries other than yours, including the United States, under appropriate safeguards.
8Data Retention and Deletion
- On your device: until you delete it or uninstall the game.
- Cloud save: until you delete it.
- Gameplay statistics: for up to 14 months in Firebase Analytics.
- Purchase and ad records: kept by Unity, Apple, Google and the ad partners under their own policies.
Settings > Delete my data erases everything on this device and your cloud save, resets the analytics identifier, and starts the game as a new player.
9Data Security
Information the game sends travels encrypted (TLS). We use reasonable measures designed to protect information, but no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure.
10Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or port your personal information, to object to or restrict its use, to withdraw consent, and to complain to your data-protection authority (in Türkiye, under the KVKK). To make a request, email contact@devello.co.
If you are in a U.S. state with privacy laws: we do not sell your personal information for money. Without your consent to personalized ads, the game asks ad partners not to "sell" or "share" it.
11Children
Mirror Atelier is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us.
12Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes, we will update the effective date above and, for significant changes, tell you in the game.
